Rena Urso-Trapani is the founder of Bella Musica. An active orchestral and chamber musician in both the San Francisco and Los Angeles areas, Rena is also a member of the flute faculty at California State University, Long Beach. She has held Piccolo positions and has toured extensively in the New York City Opera, National Company, and the San Francisco Opera’s Western Opera Theater. Rena has performed with numerous orchestras including the San Francisco Opera, the Honolulu Symphony, the American Ballet Theater, the Pageant of the Masters Orchestra, the Santa Barbara Chamber Orchestra and the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, she is the second flutist with the Oakland East Bay Symphony and the Oregon Coast Music Festival.
